Senior Mobile Development Engineer (C#D24)

Role Summary

Hands-on mobile software development, within a small and highly focused product delivery team. You will take a key role in the development and continuing roll-out of the Cellcrypt mobile device applications on a variety of platforms including iOS (iPhone), Symbian and Windows Phone 7. Building on your existing experience in one or more of these platforms, the dynamic environment encouraged by this company means there will be exciting opportunities to work across other platforms and in server-side developments.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • At least 6 years development experience with at least 3 years on mobile platforms.
  • Mobile Application development on one or more of: iOS (iPhone), Symbian, Windows Phone 7
  • Strong OOA/OOD software development experience
  • Very fluent in C, C++, Objective C
  • Understanding of VoIP (voice over internet protocol) and associated signalling and media transport technologies such as SIP/SDP and RTP protocols
  • Network development experience including TCP/IP and UDP/IP
  • Experienced in full software development lifecycle and process (from design through development, version management, debugging, etc.)
  • Mature and creative analysis and problem solving
  • Independently motivated and delivery-oriented
  • Eligible for, and willing to undertake, UK security clearance vetting if required

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Mobile Application development on one or more of: Android, Blackberry
  • Multi-threaded real time application development
  • Work well with colleagues at all levels and able to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Security architecture and/or knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and protocols
  • Experience in telephony, audio, codecs, user interface design, streaming media
  • Fluency in Java and scripting languages
  • Packet and protocol analysis
