Secure Voice Solutions
Cellcrypt provides the first enterprise grade secure VOIP solution for cellular and fixed networks. It can address the need for privacy and security while offering integration with your existing telecom infrastructure.
With networks converging and threats evolving, businesses who have control of their data network are looking to align the same policy to their voice network as well. Historically, the data network was protected up to the perimeter by a Firewall and external traffic was encrypted at endpoints by VPNs. Voice was never protected once it left the company premises.
According to Cisco, security-related costs have been roughly 2% to 4% of IT budgets; with the onset of new government information security regulations, that has increased to nearly 15%.
Cellcrypt provides a complete solution that protects all the critical components of secure communications: signalling security, media encryption and key exchange.
Solution architecture
The Cellrypt Communicator solution is comprised of the following three components which work together to provide end-to-end encryption for voice calls between users:
- Cellcrypt Mobile encrypted VoIP software to install on cellphones
- Cellcrypt PBX Gateway encrypted VoIP software to install on a gateway connected to a PBX system
- Cellcrypt Switch to manage call-routing to the appropriate IP addresses linked to the telephone numbers
Secure calls can be completed from one mobile device to another mobile device, between a mobile and a landline, or from landline to landline. The architecture requires all secure calls to be routed through a Cellcrypt Switch, which can be publicly or privately hosted. The calls passing through the switch are not decrypted ensuring complete privacy.

Cellcrypt Mobile
Cellcrypt Mobile is the most comprehensive and user friendly secure VOIP client in the market. Whether there is a need in critical situations or for day-to-day use, Cellcrypt Mobile transforms a COTS mobile phone into a terminal for secure voice communcations to ensure voice calls are not eavesdropped and confidential data compromised.
Cellcrypt Mobile has been designed to operate silently in the background waiting to receive or make a secure call to a cellphone or office PBX user running Cellcrypt's software.
Cellcrypt PBX Gateway
The Cellcrypt PBX Gateway connects to an office PBX to allow users to complete secure calls from landlines to mobile devices.
The Cellcrypt PBX Gateway accepts Cellcrypt encoded signalling and voice sent over IP. The software verifies and decrypts the incoming data and then converts the voice stream into the SIP standard that can be handled by modern IP PBXs.
Cellcrypt Switch
The Cellcrypt Public Switch routes calls between Cellcrypt Mobile clients and the PBX Gateway.
It provides a single web-based point of control for an IT administrator to provision and manage users, such as revoking a license if a device has been lost or stolen, upgrade a client to a newer version.
